North GeoServices was founded with a vision to provide an environmental & technology driven solution for a step change in subsea imaging resolution & quality, from a flexible platform providing increased operational efficiency, with a reduced carbon footprint.
North’s founders bring a wealth of experience, credibility & knowledge from global operations carried out over the last 32 years. The team bring specialist knowledge in QHSE, geophysics, technical & operational experience. With a global network of clients, suppliers & logistics providers, North draws on this experience to ensure safe, efficient & high-quality project execution.
North GeoServices will offer new, reduced C02 solutions, scalable & tailored for the energy transition markets.

Gro Haatvedt
Board Member

Gro Haatvedt is an experienced oil and gas executive with 38 years experience in global exploration,
development and
production. She worked with Hydro, Equinor and Aker BP. She has had International assignments in Iran, Libya and London. In Libya she was Managing Director for Equinor and Honorary Consul to Norway. Last couple of year's working in London with Neptune Energy, backed by PE companies, she was the VP for Exploration and Development. Gro has experience as a Board member in Magseis Fairfield, Academia and NOROG, and is currently a Deputy Board member of the Natural History Museum in Oslo.
Svein Ilebekk
Board Member
Svein has worked with and founded several oil companies, Saga, DNO, Amoco, Revus, Wintershall, Agora, Cairn and Origo. He has also been Co-founder of consultant
company, Jepsen, Sørensen & Ilebekk (1995), acquired by AkerKvaerner in 1998. Svein graduated from the University of Oslo in 1981 with a MSc in Geology. Since then and until 2020, he has been working for the E&P business, globally.
Jan Åge Greger

Jan Åge is an enthusiast for changes in the energy industry. With 38 years of experience in global exploration with international E&P
operators, he has been involved in field and business development. Jan Åge also has a well established track record for geological targets and prospect assessments, and has led teams through negotiations, planning and implementation. His experience with exploration technology development, incl. digitalisation and R&D project management must also be mentioned.
Benjamin Nordhaug Board Member

Benjamin is a corporate lawyer, with focus on company law, contractual law, negotiations and dispute resolution.
With 11 years of
experience within his field of expertise, Benjamin has also become a solid advisor for companies, Board of Directors, management teams, shareholders and investors.
David Hemingway
Board Member (Operations)
David has extensive commercial, operations & project management experience within
the offshore oil
& gas survey industry.
After 32 years in the industry, he has gained broad managerial experience in all aspects of global survey operations: technical, QHSE, logistics, procurement & personnel. David has held Senior managerial positions in sales, marketing & operations.
