May 16, 2022: New Chairman & new board member

Erik Hokholt has moved on to new assignments, North GeoServices would like to thank Erik for his contribution toward our company.

We are very pleased to announce that Gro Haatvedt will assume the role of Executive Chairman position with North GeoServices going forward.

Additionally, we are very pleased to welcome Svein Ilebekk to our board of directors. Svein brings valuable experience to North’s board as an oil and gas executive with 40 years’ experience from Exploration, Development and Production.

Svein has worked with and founded several oil companies, Saga, DNO, Amoco, Revus, Wintershall, Agora, Cairn and Origo. He has also been Co-founder of consultant company, Jepsen, Sørensen & Ilebekk (1995), acquired by AkerKvaerner in 1998. Svein graduated from the University of Oslo in 1981 with a MSc in Geology. Since then and until 2020, he has been working for the E&P business, globally.

March 29, 2022: New Board Appointment

North GeoServices are extremely pleased to welcome Gro Haatvedt to our board of directors. Gro brings valuable experience to North’s board as an oil and gas executive with 38 years’ experience in global E&P development. She has worked with Hydro, Equinor and Aker BP, with international assignments in Iran, Libya and London. In Libya she was Managing Director for Equinor and Honorary Consul to Norway. 

During the last 2 years Gro worked in London with Neptune Energy, as the VP for Exploration and Development. Gro has previous experience as a Board member with Magseis Fairfield, academia and NOROG, and is currently a Deputy Board member of the Natural History Museum in Oslo. Gro has completed the Norwegian School of Economics Executive Board programme in Corporate Governance.

January 26, 2022: North GeoServices transition to renewable offshore wind industry.

Quote from CEO, Toril Leite; “We are pleased to take part in the Flow Offshore Wind Accelerator Program to promote our new Intelligent Subsea Imaging to the Offshore Wind industry, we are convinced our technology will play an important role to de-risk Wind Farm placements and also strengthen the competitiveness for Offshore Wind energy”.
This week the Flow Accelerator launches their program focused solely on offshore wind. Five companies from three European countries stand ready to accelerate their innovations.
The program launches with a digital kick-off the 27th of January, together with Norwegian Offshore Wind. This year the program will tour Norway, with workshops in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Haugesund.
Flow Offshore Wind Accelerator is built for start-ups and scaleups with innovative ideas within the ocean industries and sustainability. With strong support from industry partners and investors within the maritime field on the west coast of Norway, the goal is to help the companies scale efficiently, aligned with the offshore wind development.

 
 
 

January 23, 2022: North to complete smaller Equity funding of up to NOK 7,2 million within March 31, 2022.

North Geo Services has invited existing and new shareholders to participate in an equity offering of up to NOK 7,2 million. The proceeds will be used to fund our part of a technology demonstration test and further commercialisation of the Company. The company has a total of 720,000 new shares to be issued at a price of NOK 10. Existing total number of shares is at present 3,111,004, the minimum subscription for new shares is NOK 10,000 and the issue will end on March 31, 2022.

Subsequent to the completion of the Equity fund raising, North GeoServices plan to register on NOTC for a public trading of our shares. NOTC is a marketplace for unlisted shares. NOTC AS is owned 100% by Oslo Børs ASA which has changed name to Euronext NOTC.

December 17, 2021: We are extremely pleased to be invited to take part in the FLOW Offshore Wind Accelerator program 2022

Offshore Wind is one of our key markets, being part of the program opens up important opportunities for North GeoServices, giving us in-depth knowledge about the operators and the offshore wind industry in Norway. Participation in the FLOW program will allow us to meet clients, potential partners and investors, in addition to the prospects we are following up on individually.

December 13, 2021: Grant Awarded from the Norwegian Research Council for Technology Demonstration

North GeoServices are pleased to announce award of a grant from the Norwegian Research Council (NRC) for Technology Demonstration of its “All-in-One” acquisition solution.
The project is supported by Lundin Energy Norway & Seamap (MIND Technology, Inc. ) and will be undertaken on the Utsira High in the Norwegian North Sea during Q1 2022.
Pending technical suitability, the test will be done over a Lundin PL, such as Edward Grieg or Lilleprinsen or other.

October 31, 2021: New Chief Technical Officer

North GeoServices are pleased to welcome Terje Nalum to the team in the role of Chief Technical Officer. Terje brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, with long experience in the offshore survey industry, specialising in source, handling & mechanical systems. Terje’s role as CTO will ensure that North are at the forefront when it comes to exploiting new, low environmental impact source systems for utilisation in our All-In-One modular survey systems.
